Notes : Adeler Frederich I, (1826-1903), studied chemistry but
did not finish his studies.
His profession was assay-master. He had two
daughters and one son; Adeler Frederich II.
Because of his son's health
problems, he moved to Wageningen on doctors advice. It was thought that
the country side would be a healthier enviroment than Amsterdam.
Of
Adeler F.I little is actually known. He was apparently very much on his own
and had little contact with his children. According to my father (A.F.III)
neither of the three children could tell much about him.
